Another Adventure

I have always loved exploring on my own. My parents hated that, as a kid, I would see something interesting nearby and before you know it I’d wandered a mile away. There is something exciting about just following your whims with no thought of how you’ll find your way back. You end up finding the most exciting, unexpected treasures that way - people, places, and experiences you never would have stumbled across otherwise.

Things haven’t changed much for me as an adult, except that now I can afford to wander thousands of miles. This week brought me to New England with really nothing in mind but seeing the leaves change. This simple pursuit has taken me on miles of hikes, from the city to the mountains to the coastline, and through three states - always in search of the perfect photo but discovering so much more along the way. Today I continue my adventure to a chain of islands off the coast of Maine that I just heard about last night. Wish me joy, excitement, and pink sunsets…
